right. but the alarm will never sound. In Missouri you must have both and audible and light.

Yes connecticut is the same way. I have never had to pull one from the dash myself. I wonder if there is a seperate fuse for the buzzer. I would assume that the light and buzzer would be seperate so that if one went bad you would still have the other for a warning.. Did you check for power and ground at the buzzer itself while you had no air and engine running?

yeah I checked it out and I have power and ground. looking like I am going to have to replace the cluster. this is going to get expensive since we have over 30 of these.

Volvo has had the buzzer built into the cluster since the VN truck came out. We have had to replace several clusters do to minor problems. You'll have to take to the dealer because they will have to reprogram it when they install it.

IF YOU HAVE PTT YOU CAN PROGRAM YOUR CLUSTERS YOUR SELF. WHAT ABOUT BRANCHING OUT YOUR WIRING AND INSTALL EXTERNAL BUZZER.

I agree we had that happen so we just wired up a small speaker, from the bottom of a home computer, 8 ohm I believe and drilled some holes in the dash just beside the fuse access panel, works great . Gonna have to do another one soon, the driver is having a fit because he can't hear his turn signals. OMG
